Rubbish Student Recycling

Shaun and I have started the company Rubbish Student Recycling to give students in Rexburg the chance to recycle. It's time for a change, and we hope to get all the students at BYU Idaho ready for that change. If you want to recycle, if you support recycling, or if you support Shaun and Megan Mayo, become a ...fan of Rubbish Student Recycling. Let's show Rexburg that there's a market for recycling!

We will be recycling cardboard, paper, plastic, and aluminum for a minimal fee per apartment. If you are interested in participating or even interested in supporting us, visit our facebook page!

A New Level of Sustainable Bathroom Products

Sustainable Solutions is going to be on the Today Show with one of their revolutionary toilet/ sink combos that takes greywater systems to a whole new level! Greywater is water that is reused that is not potable, or not safe to drink, but that comes from laundry, sinks, showers, etc.

The caroma toilet makes greywater work in an extremely efficient and sensible way. There is a sink attached to the top of a sleek, stream lined toilet. The water that you use to wash your hands in the sink is recycled and sent directly below to the toilet bowl, so you're reusing the same water for both functions. Now that's impressive!

Sustainable Solutions International is a great resource for high end resident "green" design, and you can expect many more innovations from them in the near future, I'm sure!
